The (modest) gear behind the photos on this site. A used full-frame body, two prime lenses (a 35mm and a 50mm), a tripod that does not embarrass me, a reflector card, soft window light. No studio. No flash. No backdrop paper. The point of this list is to show that the photos here are achievable on a normal budget if you care about the basics: natural light, a clean surface, real food, time. Here is the kit, with the trade-offs spelled out.
