Our editorial independence

We only recommend products we genuinely use or would buy ourselves. No brand pays us to feature their product. We don't accept sponsored posts, paid placements, or free samples in exchange for coverage. If that ever changes, we will say so plainly on the page where it applies.

When we name a product as a "pick" or "best for" something, that judgment is editorial. The commission is what helps us keep writing the site; the recommendation is what it is regardless.

What we don't do

We don't claim products were "tested" in any laboratory sense. When we say a tool earned its drawer space, we mean Anna has used it in her kitchen and formed a view. That view is editorial, not scientific.
